ADR VACANCIES FOR 2006 & 2007

The DOPT has approved for the revival of 5190 posts under the ADR plan for the years 2006 & 2007. The Department is processing the allocation of such vacancies. The orders are expected to be released upto 2008-09 within a couple of days. All the vacancies pending under ADR Plan have thus been ordered for regular recruitment.

 

 

 

FILLING UP OF VACANT POSTS BY EXISTING RECRUITMENT RULES

The Department of posts has instructed all the Heads of circles not to process the recruitment till revised Recruitment Rules are finalized. The CHQ has taken up this issue with the Department to withdraw the instructions and allow the Circles to complete the recruitments for filling up of 2006, 2007 & 2008 vacancies as per the existing Recruitment Rules.

 

 

 

ORDERS ON A C P

Orders granting three ACP Promotion is under drafting and it is told that the orders are containing various illustrations sand models with more clarity for its implementation. The orders will be released after the formal approval of JS & FA of the Department. Orders are expected in next week positively.

 

 

 

GDS COMMITTEE'S REPORT - IMPLEMENTATION

The file is yet to be cleared by the Finance Ministry. Confirmed news reveal that the Finance Minister has to sign the file which could be possible after the presentation of Budget in the parliament.

 

Meanwhile, the department is preparing the cabinet note which will be submitted through the Department of personnel after the receipt of file from the Ministry of Finance.

 

Accordingly, it will take time of not less than 20 days further to get the formalities finalized in implementing the GDS Committees recommendations.

 

 

SECOND INSTALLMENT OF ARREARS

There are lots of phone calls about the payment of second installment of Arrears. This will be paid only after the appropriation of funds by the Finance Ministry to the respective departments. It may take some more time.
