Sir,
With reference to Directorate letter No. as referred above on the subject mentioned above, we do not agree such proposal of providing assistance of one PA to Each sub Divisional office.
In this connection we would like to mention as every Sub Divisional Inspector or Astt. SPOs is already given assistance of 2-3 mail overseers. Further there is acute shortage in PA Cadre Deployment of PAs from the existing strength will further enhance the shortage causing more burden on existing PAs. Already in Administrative offices and other new schemes and works and for IPPB also, PAs have been deputed from the existing strength.
If Department is very much willing to provide assistance of PAs to Sub Divisional officers, we would like to suggest that additional post of PAs may kindly be got sanctioned and after recruitment they should be deployed there.
We have made several requestes to return back PAs from IPPB and administrative offices so that the shortage in Post office may be met and public work and official work may run smoothly.
