It is realiably learnt that the Department is working out a proposal for effecting drawal of ad-hoc quantum of arrears to GDS on the following method.
TRCA + DA as on 01.01.2006 X 20% X 38 months.
Out of which 40% shall be paid before 31.03.2009 towards arrears subject to adjustment of remaining amount after the implementation of GDs committee report.
The proposal may be forward to Ministry of Finance for approval. If approved by MOF, the Payment will be effected before 31.03.2009.
