Glorious Nationwide Indefinite Strike by BSNL Employees and Group 'B' Officers with massive response commenced today morning at 6.00 P.M.
Comrade V.A.N.Namboodiri General Secretary BSNLEU informed our Federation that a total response by both Employees and Group 'B' Officers from all Circles to the Call of the Joint Action Committee of BSNL Associations / Unions has been recorded.
We once again congratulate the striking BSNL Employees and Officers and wish them all Success in their just struggle.
NFPE / P3 CHQ again remind the Circle Unions and Divisional and Branch Secretaries to take all out efforts to mobilize our Postal Workers in solidarity demonstrations throughout the country in support of the BSNL employees who are our own brothers and sisters in the joint P&T Family and got bifurcated due to the privatization policy of the Government. The present attack of larger disinvestment of BSNL and plans for retrenchment of one lakh BSNL Workers cannot be tolerated.
ORGANISE SOLIDARITY DEMONSTRATIONS OF POSTAL WORKERS TO THE STRIKING BSNL EMPLOYEES AND OFFICERS - INVITE THE LEADERS OF JOINT ACTION COMMITTEE TO OUR DEMONSTRATIONS FOR ADDRESSING - EXTEND ALL SUPPORT TO THE BSNL COMRADES IN THEIR HOUR OF S TRUGGLE FOR SURVIVAL.
