Consequent upon the decision of the Committee of Secretaries headed by Secretary (P), DOP&T held on 16^th February, 2009 the competent authority in the Government of India has approved the revival of the following vacancies being 1/3^rd of direct recruitment posts in the Department of Posts, lying vacant for more than one year to be filled up under the Annual Direct Recruitment Plan in accordance with the instructions contained in Department of Personnel &Training OM No. 2/8/2001-PIC dated 16.05.2001:
