(POSTS) TAKES A SERIOUS VIEW
Of late, reports are being
received from various circles/Divisions regarding abnormal delay on the part of
the Divisional and Circle administration in conducting enquiry in sexual
harassment cases. In some circles even the Circle level Committee for prevention
of Sexual Harassment is yet to be constituted. Due to the above reasons, the
complainants are put in to much mental agony and further harassment. The matter
was brought to the notice of the Secretary, Department of Posts and she has taken
a serious view of the subject, Secretary has assured speedy action in all such
cases. Secretary (Posts) further desires to have full details of each case
pending in various Divisions/Circles All Circle/Divisional Secretaries are
requested to send a detailed report immediately regarding the pending sexual harassment
cases.
