DEAR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS!
NFPE and the P3 will demand a separate establishment for the System Administrators and for the formation of a Postal Technology Wing as like Postal Civil Wing. And to attempt to secure some interim benefit in order to ensure that the job of System Administrators is of an higher order than that of the Data Entry Operators, we will demand 10% of additional pay or three advance increments for the System Adminstrators. A comprehensive Note would be submitted to the Director General, Department of Posts justifying the formation of a Technology Wing and separte establishment, after the Federal Executive Meeting of NFPE and CWC Meeting of P3 Union. These demands will be effectively taken up with the highest level of the Postal Department by the National Federation of Postal Employees.

It is impossible to appoint a SA in a division. Because, there is only on post of SA, hence many officials would be kept away from this benefit.
Instead of the advance increment, my suggestion is to grant him special allowance to post attached. Those who are working as SA, they will be get Special Allowance
MY SUGGESION IS TO GRANT SPECIAL ALLOWANCE FOR SA. AND ALSO GIVEN A MOBLE PHONE AND BILLS AMOUNT TO SA.
The effort of our CHQ is worth appreciating. There never have been this kind in the CHQ at Delhi. Now the main issue of System Administrator is on the table. If the SAs are given the proposed benefit, their morale and dedication would surely increased, and the number of computerised offices will drastically add up across the country. The present SAs are half hearted to put in all out effort. All SOs are supplied with computers, but the implementing agency (SAs) are not given sufficient priviledges and other benefit which is due to them. That is why many PA designated as SAs are leaving the post with the high responsibility vested in their hands. They are not able to cope with the current job entrusted to them. That is why many Divisions suffered backwardly in computerisation effort.
In my division, Marketing Executives, Manager SPCs are given mobile phone facilities the bill of which are borned by the dept. Such petty facility are denied to SA, also the Machine allowance given to MPCM counter PA is also discriminating.

This is a good proposal. A meeting was held on 13/04/08 at Barrackpore (West Belgal) to discuss this issue and more than 100 SAs was present from Calcutta Region . They are agreed with this proposal for separate establishment of System Administrator. We also going to convene a meeting within 10 days at circle level to demand these issues as proposed by CHQ. We are very much happy that General Secretary of CHQ is doing a very good job and he is very active person in mind and union works. Thank u Comrade.
A functionaly unjustify cadre(by 6th cpc)is now focused by our CHQ for their justify demand.I think no one can ignore / deny the higher resposibility they bear without any kind of reward from the department, and this is justify?How funny|

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR POST MAY BE SAME LIKA A TREASURER POST OR ANY OTHER ALLOWANCE POST . EVERY OFFICIAL WHO ARE WILLING TO GET TRAINED AS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR MAY BE GIVEN TRAINING, AND THE POST MAY BE ATENURE OF 2 YEARS AND A SPECIAL ALLOWANCE MAY BE GIVEN TO THE POST. THE SYSTEM ADMINSITRATOR POST SHOULD NOT DEPEND UPON ANY SINGLE INDIVUAL. AND THERE SHOULD BE MANY NUMBER OF OFFICIAL SHOULD ABLE TO WORK AS SYSTEM ADMINS.
