Sir,
It is to
brng to your kind notice that the DPC for HSG-II (Postal) Accounts Line
officials are not being held in many Circles now a days after the latest
revision of the concerned RRs for General Line officials.
But, as
clarified vide Directorate letter under reference, amendment in RRs of HSG-II
A/c in PO was made in 1982 vide letter No. 4 / 11 / 80 – SPB.II, dated
16.12.1982 and as per this RRs, posts in HSG-II A/c in PO are to be filled up
by LSG officials who have passed the Post Office Accountants Examination and
worked as Accountant thereafter for at least three years regularly. Further
amendment has not been made till date.
Therefore,
in view of the above, there is no issue at all in filling up of the posts of
HSG-II A/C in PO by the Circles in accordance with the RRs of 1976 and 1982.
It is
therefore requested to kindly cause instructions to All Chief PMGs for issuing
necessary instructions to all Circles for conducting DPC for HSG-II Accounts
Line officials as per the above clarifications.
